I was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1951. I have had an adventurous life - in 1976 I participated in a 9,500 mile Bicentennial Run for the U.S. commemorating the 200 year anniversary of the U.S. I have hiked the jungles of Venezuela, been on every continent of the world. A graduate with honors from the University of Miami with two degrees, Science and Fine Art, I am now an award-winning published author. I consider myself a naturalist and environmentalist, as I believe we are stewards of this tiny blue planet. That is why I write my blog, encouraging my readers to be more aware of the living things that surround us all.
